Love these Locks! I have student tenants living in my house who often have friends over when I'm not home. excellent lock Installed this lock on the door to my elderly mother's house to allow and control access by home care providers without having to hand out keys. Size Matters A good solid lock which works well. The problem is I also bought a keyless deadbolt to go on the same door, which has standard cutouts, and they will not fit together. I got them keyed the same and wanted them both on the same door so that the door would be totally keyless for my kids even though there were two locks. September 1, 2009

Excellent! This is the best preventative for getting locked out of the house EVER! I had one of those other locksets where you cant tell when you open the door on the inside that it is still locked when you pull it shut on the outside... needless to say, this resulted in some embarassing and stressful moments. After two times in 6 months, I got this lockset. It does not need to be relocked after opening the door so it is more secure and as long as you can remember a 4 digit code, you can get back in. The keypad lights up too! GREAT IDEA! Easy to install and program. Battery looks easy to replace. Just DON'T lose the instructions containing the programming codes. If you want one where the automatic relocking can be turned off, this is NOT the one for you. There is another model with a turnlock on the inside. That is the one you want. May 6, 2008

Can the lock be keyed to my key, it is a Schlage Primus key?

A. The Schlage FE575-PLY-FLA can be keyed to your Schlage key as long as it is 5 pin Schlage C key way. You will need to know your key code. That can sometimes be found on the key. It will be a 5 digit number. If it is not on the key, you will need to take your key to a lock smith or a place that makes keys to get it.
