what is a panic proof lock

A. The Schlage FA51-DNB panic proof feature means that the knob or lever on the inside of the door will always turn, even if the door is locked. The outside knob or lever will be fixed when locked. This feature is meant to make it easy to exit a door in case of an emergency.
