Could you explain the Keying Options?
A. The free keying option gives three selections. The "Keyed Alike" option means that all keyed products in your cart with this option selected will use the same key. The "Keyed Different" option means that all keyed products in your cart with this option selected will use different keys. The "Key Code" section is there so that you can specify a keyed product to use the same key you already use at home. You can find your key code by taking your key to a local locksmith or key maker, who can give you that code.

what do you mean by keying option?
A. Thank you for your question. Keying options are very helpful when ordering more than 1 locking product or when you want to be able to use your current key on a lock that you are purchasing. Keying Alike makes it so that all of the locks that you select Keyed Alike will use the same key.
