Camelot Single Cylinder Exterior Entrance Handleset from the F-Series

The distinctive design of the Camelot combines architectural inspired arches with graceful curves. The two-piece design offers flexibility for doors with non-standard hole locations while providing a classic appearance for smaller entranceways.

Deadbolt Features:

  • Utilizes the new B-Series deadbolt with increased security and easier installation!
  • 1/2" of bolt left in housing when bolt is thrown for added kick-in resistance.
  • Integrated anti-pick shield with Snap & Stay™ self adjusting tension provides added security and simplifies installation
  • 1" Edge bore door preparation required for larger bolt housing
  • Zinc bolt has hardened steel pin inside that spins in response to sawing attacks which prevents cutting or sawing
  • Bolt diameter is 10% larger than typical bolts for maximum kick-in resistance
  • Adjustable backset with the industry's only helical design that locks into place with no adjusting during installation
  • Works for both 2-3/8" and 2-3/4" backsets.
  • ADA compliant thumb turn
  • Faceplates (Part 12-326): Supplied with 1/4" Round Corner, Square Corner and Drive-In Faceplates
  • Strike Plates (Part 10-269): Supplied with a Round Corner Deadbolt Strike (10-116), Square Corner Full Lip Strike Plate (10-026) and Round Corner Full Lip Strike Plate (10-027) with Dimensions of 2-1/4" x 1-5/8"

can you explain single, double or dummy cylinder for front entry door?

A. Single means one side has a keyed entry while the other has a thumb latch. Double means there is a keyed entry on both sides and Dummy means it is not real (double doors/ French doors).

Does this have two locks? A deadbolt and one on the handle? If not can you direct me to a product that does.

A. This item is only keyed on the deadbolt. Sounds like you need a 2-point lock like the Kwikset Gibson, # 553-GN-LIP-S.

Left Handed - Right Handed - may I assume from the inside, door hinged on the left that this is "left handed"?

A. Thank you for your question. Determining handing is done by standing on the Outside of the door and looking to see what side the hinges are on. If from the outside, the hinges are on the left, you need a left handed set.

Does this new handle come with an interior knob or does it come with a lever?

A. Thank you for your question. The Schlage F58-CAM comes with either a knob or a lever. You can actually choose the interior pack you would like. I have double entry doors. Which dummy handleset do I need to match outside and in? I see under other viewed the F392 Cam and the and the F92 cam. Is it one of these and what is the difference?

A. You will want to use the F92-CAM to match up with the F58-Cam. Make sure you choose the interior packs from the same series so the interiors match as well.

A. The Schlage F58-CAM will not need handing specified, The interior pack, that will require handing. The RH numbers will be the right handed ones. The left handed versions have LH at the end.
