What if I want it keyed to an existing key? Is the "key code" the number that is on a key, or the number on the box? I have a key, and know the number on it, but have no idea what the number on the box was, and they appear to be different.

A. If there is a 5 or 6 digit number on your key, then that is the keycode. The number on any boxes from hardware stores is not the keycode.

Does this come in a model that is not panic proof. I want the interior knob to be fixed when locked to avoid getting locked out.

A. The Schlage F51-FLA is not available in a version that is not panic proof.
