Bath / Bedroom Privacy Door Lever Set from the Saturn Collection

This lever set is locked by a privacy button on the interior side and includes an emergency release on the exterior side. Perfect for privacy in a bedroom or bathroom.

Latch: 1 1/8" x 2 1/4", Square corner faceplate, 1" housing diameter, 1/2" throw
Strike: 1 1/4" x 4 7/8", ANSI, Square corner, no box
Door Range: 1 3/8" - 1 7/8"
Backset: 2-3/8", 2-3/4" (standard), 3-3/4" (with extension), 5" (with extension)

Saturn Privacy Door Lever Set 5 5 1 1

Quality Product Installed the AL40S easily enough, however, the 1 and 3/8 inch thick door was too thin; this is the minimum thickness specified for this lockset. The 2 through screws, holding both halves of the lockset together, protruded such that the trim ring, opposite the screw heads, ended up being dented. I had to remove the dented trim ring and use my Dremel tool to cut off the excess screw length. I replaced the dented trim ring, but the dents were still there. This was not an error free install. The problem is not with "Handlesets," but with Schlage and their install instructions. "Handlesets" delivered the product in a timely manner, in excellent condition and for a competitive price.
