A. Keyed Alike is relevant when you are selecting more than one keyed door hardware product. So, if you are buying new keyed door hardware for your entire home (or for more than one door), you would want them all keyed alike so you can use the same key throughout your home. Keyed different should be selected when you want the keyed door hardware to be keyed to different keys. This is generally used by contractors and people buying door hardware for more than one home/unit. If you are just buying one new door hardware product and you need the item keyed to your current key code then simply enter the key code in the provided text box on the product page. Your current key code can usually be found on your phsical key.
