The patio lock knob set is similar to a privacy knob set in that it uses a pushbutton lock on the interior knob. It does not feature the emergency unlock function from the outside that you will find in the privacy knobs. The patio knob set will unlock when the knob is turned on the interior and when the door is closed, preventing accidental lockout when exiting.
